***This session is for individuals diagnosed and living with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA).***
Join Dr. Fred DiCarlo and the Nova Southeastern graduate student clinicians for this weekly session. Student clinicians will provide a variety of opportunities for participants to communicate their wants, needs, and thoughts.
Participants will be encouraged to share ideas and experiences. Dr. DiCarlo and the student clinicians will provide examples & strategies for improved communication.
What is PPA?
Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) is a condition that results from damage to areas of the brain that control speech and language. Persons with PPA experience a gradual loss in their ability to speak, write, read, and/or understand what others are saying.
